Jones Obenchain, LLP is a full-service law firm. We represent large corporations, small businesses, emerging organizations, entrepreneurs, families and individuals. Over the past 100 years, we have developed the expertise to handle the most complex legal issues and the judgment to recognize when a matter is straight forward and should be handled in a simple, practical and cost-effective manner. Throughout the process, our clients' interests are always put first.
We emphasize the personal relationship and accountability people have a right to expect from their attorney. The professional yet collegial environment at Jones Obenchain means that you can talk to the person you need to about your case, when you need to do so. Whether it is the attorney in charge of your representation, other attorneys assisting in the matter or our knowledgeable legal assistants, you will always find someone to assist you at Jones Obenchain.
Our staff of fourteen attorneys is large enough and diverse enough to provide virtually any service offered by a larger, more expensive firm. Our ability to serve all of our clients' needs, whether locally, nationally, or internationally, is enhanced through our affiliation with Meritas.

in the News
Brian represents small businesses and individuals in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. It’s what he calls the lawyer’s version of a “liberal arts education.” In the courtroom, he has represented a school district seeking to end a 20-year-old desegregation order in federal court and argued before the Indiana Court of Appeals. But he still enjoys guiding clients with modest means through small claims court. Outside the halls of justice, he has negotiated the sales of businesses, structured securities offerings, and drafted prospectuses that were subject to review by state securities agencies around the country. But he gets as much satisfaction (if not more) from drafting simpler transactional documents like a non-compete agreement for a small business owner to use with his three employees.
