Brian M. Kubicki

Brian represents small businesses and individuals in a variety of transactional and litigation matters.  It’s what he calls the lawyer’s version of a “liberal arts education.”  In the courtroom, he has represented a school district seeking to end a 20-year-old desegregation order in federal court and argued before the Indiana Court of Appeals.  But he still enjoys guiding clients with modest means through small claims court.  Outside the halls of justice, he has negotiated the sales of businesses, structured securities offerings, and drafted prospectuses that were subject to review by state securities agencies around the country.  But he gets as much satisfaction (if not more) from drafting simpler transactional documents like a non-compete agreement for a small business owner to use with his three employees.  This varied experience allows Brian to approach legal issues with a more comprehensive understanding than a narrow focus might permit.

Brian loves being a dad to his four children.  Over the past eight years he has become passionate about Elmo, dinosaurs, Transformers, Geronimo Stilton, dancing, singing, rough-housing, playing catch, Legos, trucks, and just hanging out with his kids.  Brian is a member of the Board of Directors for the Public Education Foundation and chairs the Foundation’s Marketing Committee and is the youngest member of the Executive Committee.
