Colin J. Reilly

Colin was born on Long Island.  After graduating from Sachem High School, Colin attended college at Rutgers University.  While working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, he spent four years as a member of Rutgers Heavyweight Crew and earned a varsity letter.

He and his wife, Maria, moved to South Bend, Indiana so he could attend Notre Dame Law School.  During his time at Notre Dame, Colin worked at the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic, became a big brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters, won the American Bar Association Negotiation Award and became a father.

Colin joined Jones Obenchain, LLP in 1998 and became a partner in 2003.  Colin is a commercial and business litigator, with experience in state, federal and appellate courts.  He represents individuals and businesses in matters of contract disputes, employment issues, tort claims and insurance coverage disputes.  Some of his clients have included the State of Indiana, the Department of Corrections and the Department of Transportation.

Colin spent several years as a member of the Board of Directors for St. Joseph County Big Brothers Big Sisters.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka and, in December 2005, was highlighted in the Tribune Business Weekly as a "Rising Star" in the local business community.

Colin was also selected to be a member of the Michiana Region Forty Under 40 Class of 2007.  Forty Under 40 is a collaborative project involving the regional Chambers of Commerce, Elkhart Truth, South Bend Tribune, Bethel College, and a number of major employers intended to recognize and honor forty young professionals in the area for their contribution and accomplishments in both their workplace and community.

Colin and Maria live in South Bend with their three children.
