Jones Obenchain has been in continuous practice in South Bend, Indiana, since 1906. The firm traces its history to the partnership of Vitus Jones, a “double-Domer,” and Roland Obenchain, Sr., a veteran and graduate of the universities at Valparaiso and Yale. The earliest incarnation of today’s Jones Obenchain was seen as one of the best firms in Indiana and was described by the South Bend Tribune as one of the strongest in the central west, serving clients in Indiana and Michigan.
