Josh Payton
The newest attorney at Jones Obenchain, Josh was raised just over the Indiana border in Buchanan, Michigan. He attended Grand Valley State University, in Allendale Michigan, where he received a BS in political science and history. Josh graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in the spring of 2008.
Immediately after graduation Josh moved back to Michiana and began working as a clerk and then an attorney at Jones Obenchain, LLP. Josh is focusing in litigation, and is working with a variety of clients from small businesses and individuals to large corporations.
2008 was a busy year for Josh. Married this year, he and his wife Tami moved back to South Bend from Chicago. Josh and Tami live with their two dogs and enjoy a number of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, spending time on the farm with their horses, and going dirt bike riding through the state parks of northern Michigan. Now that he is beginning to settle into South Bend, Josh is looking forward to volunteering in the community and experiencing what the city has to offer.
